He comes from a family of fifteen with 5 girls, 10 boys. His Jamaican parents came to London in the early 60s and he was born and raised in NW London, Harlesden but is now based near Wembley. Herbbies first love is music and he developed a love of poetry after hearing Linton Kwesi Johnson. Ever the creative mind, during the pandemic Herbbie started a weekly radio session called The Herbsters late menu show playing old and new Soul.
