Rev David Primrose, Director of Transforming Communities for Lichfield Diocese, talks in Dying Matters Awareness Week about work to help parishes and congregations feel more confident about talking about death and dying. Programmes supported by the diocese range from deanery ‘funeral champions’ to producing videos and promoting ‘Grave Talk’, café-style gatherings aimed at encouraging people to talk about death.
