It annoys me that the guy neglected to include pitch-bending like the original song has-- SynthString 1 has a delayed attack on it that KIND of simulates it though, so he gets a pass. The original definitely sounds a lot fuller than this punk's MIDI though, I had trouble getting it to sound less empty. Got a kick out of writing in the harmony I'd been singing to myself after listening a few times, though.
The fact that I was able to harmonize with it is the mark of good backing instrument construction, because otherwise I'd TRY to harmonize and sound like shit because I'm a loser like that bombing keyboard class has totally shaken my confidence because it revealed to me how much of a procrastinating weak-willed bastard I am when the going gets tough.
