We’re also spotlighting the online indie scene this month for our Ascending series. Minnesota’s yiru seesaws between sharp rap verses and soulful R&B on “rock my world,” off his ‘Sandpiper’ EP. Repping that same scene is Ascending alum bunii, who follows his acclaimed March 2026 album ‘Virgilio’ with the track “TETHERED,” the lead single off his upcoming EP, ‘WATSNEXT.’
Next, SoundCloud OG Trippie Redd collaborates with rising hip-hop artist Nine Vicious on the track “Kidding Me,” off Trippie’s feature-stacked sixth studio album, ‘NDA.’
Then, on the dance side: UK garage producer Lockerz shares the Disclosure-inspired title track off his latest album, June 2026’s ‘HEART.’ Manchester’s Faster Horses teams up with fast-rising Scottish duo Vivace for “There's Nothing Else,” released via Berlin rave label Live From Earth. Sheffield’s SILVA BUMPA, fresh off a SoundCloud No. 1 hit with “On 2nite,” links up with NYC-raised soul singer Kosmo Kint on “Fantasy (Baby if u know me).” And hear the track that won our recent TYNAN remix contest from bass producer WHZLY, now part of a full remix album.
