In Episode 2 of The Upload, get to know Liim, the New York rapper who’s getting co-signs from Joey Bada$$ and Tyler, The Creator. Hear from BBC Radio 1 DJ Jaguar, whose new track with electronic pop artist PIRI is inspired by Detroit techno and electro.
Also hear newly released music from Alabama's FATTMACK, who drops “Astronaut,” as part of his album ‘Mr. Did It By Hisself 3.’ After building a fanbase on melodic, freestyle-heavy flows, he’s earned a SoundCloud Ascending Artist nod and a spot on The Booth.
We're also spotlighting a transatlantic trance collaboration from Vivace, Gusta, and K.ONE on “Holding You Back.” Vivace's been on a run since “Krazy (Save Me)” took off in May, and New York's Gusta and K.ONE are rising fast themselves.Their preview clip for the track alone hit 30,000 plays.
Elsewhere, Slayr, fresh off his XXL freestyle, drops a new track that he’s been teasing at gigs. Representing the online “indie” scene are beige and ankle, who are both part of the influential indie collective Camp.
And finally, Scotland’s HANÁ brings bouncy techno cut “Ritual Pulse,” right off Germany’s techno club and festival circuit.
