RonTom started as a DJ and Co-Partner in LWR in the late 80's, London's original underground radio station, which would spawn the careers of the one and only Tim Westwood, Jiggs (Choice FM), Daddy Earni, Jazzy B (Soul2Soul), Maxi Jazz (Faithless) & Mr C (The Shamen). Ron Tom was also the major force and CEO behind the company Jago Management Production. RonTom's own label, Metamorphosis Digital (formerly "Metamorphosis") has constantly been at the forefront of urban dance music, with Jungle/Drum n Bass classics such as "Dub Wars" and has been at the cutting edge for new age entertainment, allowing the company to thrive throughout the last 3 decades.
One of Ron Tom's latest projects was with Sinead O'Connor, spearheading the new album and with the latest of his new powerhouse acts to emerge, Joseph Macwan and the band Out of Karma, Ron Tom has helped to re-invent the style of music as well as the industry many times over. In a recent interview Ron Tom had this to say, "Hello friends, Music is the universal language of the world. I am a translator. Please don't try to stop it or get in the way, for my strength comes from Jah, the love of music and humanity, and it is this love that has helped me to keep my sanity! Discovering new music everyday and people to share it with is an immense pleasure and a true high".
