@throwingsnow's new @houndstoothlbl EP channels the tension of today's turbulent political times into four raucous productions. 'The Death Of Pragmatism' was due to drop tomorrow in the wake of Britain's scheduled departure from the EU. That's still up in the air, but we can say with certainty that this record bangs. Shrill synth tones crescendo through the title-track's opening before weighty percussive rhythms propel the track forward.
