Playing afterhours holds a very special place in my heart. It was exactly at these intimate settings where I learned the art of DJing about a decade ago and it was kinda normal for me to play hours and hours on end. During these marathon sessions you nearly forget everything around you and just lose yourself in the music. But they also hold space to tell an extensive story and take you on a journey through various subgenres and the rich history of electronic music - from house and disco to trance and techno - something that isn't possible in a typical club context with two-hour playtimes. I clearly remember my longest set back then went 9,5 hours, an experience that made me realize how much I love this craft and it became a full-circle moment for me when my first official afterhour with a greater audience at our lovely Tresor.West garden in May earlier this year lasted just as long 🩶
It was such a beautiful opportunity for me to create a versatile, intimate and emotional vibe that I cherish so deeply and it became even more beautiful to see that the people catched that vibe, too. As an expression of my gratitude for this magical moment and all these people who fully embraced this journey with me, l've decided to upload a little glimpse into that 10-hour ride so we can relive this memory again and again.
