Maxi Horta is a Chilean DJ and producer with a deep-rooted musical background, having played drums since age six and crafted original music across diverse genres with various bands. Since 2020, Maxi has focused on tech house, melodic techno, afro house, progressive house, and peak-time techno, inspired by icons such as Marco Carola, Andrea Oliva, Nic Fanciulli, Luciano ,Carl Cox, Solomun, Joseph Capriati, Adam Beyer, Ricardo Villalobos, Black Coffee and Hernán Cattaneo.
In Chile, Maxi performed at renowned clubs including Club Room in Santiago and key venues in Valparaíso, sharing lineups with international acts like Raffa FI and Manu González. Now based in Melbourne, he is a resident DJ at Circus and a frequent performer at leading clubs such as Revolver Upstairs, The Emerson, Storyville, and New Guernica. Maxi has shared stages with international artists including Andrés Campo, Richy Ahmed, Kyotto, and John 00 Fleming.
Known for his seamless mixing and deep, captivating sets, Maxi Horta delivers an energetic and immersive experience, blending minimalistic tech house grooves with powerful peak-time rhythms. He is a regular at Melbourne’s vibrant electronic scene, including exclusive boat parties by Eat The Beat, constantly bringing fresh and dynamic sounds to the dancefloor.
