After the latest Twoonky release, Macadam Mambo welcomes another Italian artist on the label : Steve Pepe.
Behind his first release « Danza Moderna » on Hivern disc last year and few apparences before, Manuel Cascone (his real name) seems pretty new in the modern electronic scene, but don’t worry, he is not falling from Mars and has been part of several bands in Roma before, which made his experience in New Wave, Pop, Abstract, Experimental sounds very diverse. And it’s maybe why what he presents today on this 2xLP has such a singular approach in mixing genres and styles with high inspiration. It’s tribal, mental, powerful, full of percussions, flutes, voices and weird electronic sounds, everything in a very cinematographic form to bring us in the most dramaturgical trip.
Be certain that 2020 will definitely be the year of the revelation for Steve Pepe!
