Pangu Lagoon [B] 16-bit arrange by Leila Wilson [Woofle] published on 2015-12-23T08:55:42Z 16-bit arrangement of Pangu Lagoon's second stage, from Freedom Planet. While Freedom Planet itself is based off of 32-bit era games, it was fun to see what it might have sounded like in the 16 bit era! You do a lot better at it then me, believe it or not. Soundfont drums are good for your purposes. Also, FMDrive allows you to import samples, and automatically converts them to 8-bit, or 4-bit (your choice). But yeah, those are good samples ya got. 2016-02-05T04:55:14Z Comment by Leila Wilson [Woofle] @alphaphk: Oooh, this was your favorite? (...she said a month late. XD) That makes me really really happy, honestly! 2016-02-04T04:56:50Z Comment by Leila Wilson [Woofle] @jason-kenyon-6: oooh! Awesome! Thank you! (...she said a month late.) SoR 2 was actually one of my main inspirations in this, and a lot of other things I do! 2016-02-04T04:56:29Z Comment by Leila Wilson [Woofle] @marcb0t: Ack! I'm a month late! XD I meant to thank you! The drums are done the only way I can with my setup -- using a soundfont. I don't really know how else to simulate 'em, but fortunately, they have a whole ton of good samples in there! :D 2016-02-04T04:55:56Z Comment by Leila Wilson [Woofle] @tristan-turner-872904367: If time allows me (2016 has been heck so far! D: ) I would love to! I don't know if I can, but if time allows, I will certainly try! 2016-02-04T04:55:12Z Comment by Leila Wilson [Woofle] @zvoc47: Believe it or not, that's the exact sound I used! XD You're the first to catch it! 2016-02-04T04:54:49Z Comment by RetroZvoc Sounds like Sonic the Hedgehog rings there 2016-02-03T20:08:59Z Comment by Flash Trickstar Good lord this is amazing. Please do Thermal Base. Would absolutely LOVE that. 2016-02-01T18:11:48Z Comment by marcb0t Bassline is nice. I like the lo-fi drum sample sound as well. It does sound like Genesis quality. 2015-12-30T06:39:29Z Comment by marcb0t I like these stereo panning bell sounds here. 2015-12-30T06:38:43Z Comment by AlphaPHK I was about to ask you to make some Freedom Planet arrangements and then BAM,16-bit arrangements of my favorite track in the game! Thanks for posting those, really made my day :D! 2015-12-24T10:39:21Z Comment by Jason Kenyon Wow, it kind of reminds me of a mix of Dreamer and Slow Moon from Streets of Rage 2. 2015-12-23T17:53:55Z
