“Alexandra Jackson: Legacy & Alchemy” is the debut album of vocalist Alexandra Jackson.
Executive produced by Robert Hebert, the project pays homage to Brazil's music legacy and its legends, and offers a path forward with the music.
The 18-track 2 CD project was produced by Robert Hebert and Larry Williams, with co-producers on several tracks that included Rod Temperton, Ivan Lins, Chris Walker, Arthur Maia, Max Viana, and others.
The album features the appearances of music icons: the late Miles Davis, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Al Jarreau, Rod Temperton, Oscar Castro-Neves, Dona Ivona Lara and Arthur Maia ... as well as Ivan Lins, Carlinhos Brown, Banda Black Rio, Hubert Laws, Larry Dunn, Al McKay, Siedah Garrett, and Paulo Jobim & Daniel Jobim.
The star musician ensemble includes the producers, Robertinho Silva, Darryl Jones, Teo Lima, Armando Marcal, Jesse Sadoc, Orquestra Atlantica, Pretinho da Serrinha, Darryl Tookes, Curtis King, Paulo Calasans, Joao Castilho, Andre Siqueira, Marcelo Mariano, Marcello Ferreira, Paula Santoro, Maestro Charles Floyd conducting The Bossa Nova Noites Orquestra, and others.
The late Danny Leake and Ed Cherney, with Moogie Canazio, Andreas Meyer, Bernie Grundman, Steve Sykes, Erik Zobler, Ricardo Dias, Guido Pera, Duda Mello, and Luther Banks.
The album was featured at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, on The NBC Today Show, and on CNN International.
The project was named "Connect Brazil's 2018 Album of the Year."
Featured in more than 200 articles around the world, in PHASE I of its marketing and promotion, the project has had 9 songs in rotation in 6 music formats ... making the U.S. Smooth Jazz Top 10 chart and the World Music Charts Europe Top 20 chart.

Legacy and Alchemy plans to launch PHASE 2 of the marketing and promotion in Spring 2022 -- featuring the 8 songs from the album that have not been promoted + several of the 8 songs "in the vault."
