There is a big picture.

For years, Angel has told us heretical things about relationships, but those who have tried them have found they've done much better. He's told us about jobs and the corruption of the system that is work, and it seems so insane that you'd think the world would fall apart if people would listen to him, but soon jobs will be changing. He's told us about trust and self-esteem and integrity and power, and those who have listened are living much richer lives. He's told us of insanities, the large insanities and the small ones, and he's told us of violence and kindness, of light and shadow, about how you're body is made and about your sexuality and many more things. Anybody who is paying attention, can scan these pieces and see that many of them feel right and are amazing. Yet when you look at it, what you see is thousands of pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. At any given time you can look at one, and if you study it deeply enough you will find it makes sense, but it may take you years for every single piece of this jigsaw puzzle to really understand why it makes sense.

There is a big picture. You will not need to put all those jigsaw pieces together to figure out what it is when you can stand and see that big picture. And having that, you can reach out to any part of that and find the jigsaw piece that connects to it. The difficulty is that while there is a big picture, Angel cannot yet show it to us, because we are not ready to see it. The first step has to be to help us to grow up, to be free of the chaos, and the second step has to be to help us to think more clearly, and then the next step is to show us that most things he would share with us, are things outside the human experience, and therefore don't have labels and words, so he would have to teach us a new language. These are all things you must do before you can see the big picture.

For now, trust that there is a big picture, or scan it, even if you cannot get it yet. All the seemingly diverse things that he has given us crazy and unbelievable perspectives on, aren't unrelated. All these crazy ideas are ideas that we would come up with, just as quickly and just as simply, if we could perceive the bigger picture.

Right now, you are like a near-sighted person looking at a vast mural done in a pointillist style, so when you get back far enough to see it, all it you get is a confusing blur of colour and movement and it means nothing. It's chaotic, it triggers emotions and ideas and confusion, it leaves you a mess. Should you get close enough to get any part of it, to really get that piece, what you will find is that it is just a single dot. These recordings, in their own way, each describe one of these dots. What Angel does for us, when we make it to C-level, when we get our heads above water and see clearly, is to help us to step back from the mural, so we can say "Oh, that's what all those dots are about."

When we want to understand, when we don't get it, Angel encourages us to do the basics, to follow the simple steps and to grow. That's tough, the mind wants to understand it. He's told us that we're like infants who want to climb a mountain, like a newborn who wants to run a marathon. First we have to figure out that we have a body, then we need to start controlling it and to build strength, and soon we'll be toddling around. In just a few years, we'll find we've grown into adults. Don't worry about the big picture. When you're ready, it will become clear to you. For now, it's enough to sense that the big picture is there. And while the smaller pieces are useful, study them and scan them and try to apply them, but don't try so hard to understand them and figure out where they come from and make them make sense. You cannot get back far enough to the point where the mural becomes clear.
