On most platforms, everyone's subscription fees go into one pool and get split by total streams. On SoundCloud, when a fan streams your music, their subscription or ad revenue goes to the artists they actually listened to. The more dedicated your fans are, the more you earn. You keep 100% of your royalties - we only take a small processing fee on payouts.
First, you’ll need an Artist or Artist Pro subscription. Head to the Monetization tab in your SoundCloud for Artists dashboard to sign our Distribution Terms of Use, set up your payout method (bank or PayPal), and submit your tax form.
Once your start monetizing or distributing, earnings will be paid out to you on a monthly basis once your balance hits $25 (including transaction fees). Remember, earnings are reported and paid out on a standard two month delay after an initial 45 to 60 day setup period for first time earners.

Pick your tracks, add credits, upload artwork, and submit for review. We create a product page for your release and handle manufacturing and shipping to 90+ countries as orders come in — no upfront costs, no minimum orders, no leftover stock. Each 12" vinyl is $39.40 USD and you get paid for every sale.
Fan Support lets listeners send you money directly from your profile or any of your tracks. They choose an amount ($1–$1,000), hit send, and you keep 100% after payment processing fees. Top supporters are featured on your profile through the Fan Support leaderboard. Payouts happen monthly once you hit a $10 minimum.
Artist Storefront lets you attach links to merch, tickets, albums, or anything else directly to your tracks so fans can buy right where they're listening. It's another way to earn beyond streams, all from one place.
