Phrey & Limbus Luna - System MACet by Collective Conscious Records

System MACet came together over the building of a friendship between Phrey & Limbus Luna. Phrey had been playing tunes from Limbus Luna over the years and reached out to collaborate on a song and quickly hit it off. The track "Beautiful" came, and as they played it out over 2025, it quickly became a standout. That year, Limbus Luna was booked for Bigfam and met up with Phrey. They spent the weekend together and decided to turn their ideas into a 2-song EP. In this EP, they explored the sounds of classic Glitch-Hop, adding their own downtempo flavors and pushing their own original sound design. Influenced heavily by Mac Miller, they sampled everyday talking clips of Mac and incorporated them into each song! Both songs come with their own flair: "Beautiful" is meant to draw you in and take you on a journey vs "I Am" being a high-energy, focused tune meant to make you dance and appreciate yourself.

MACET stands for Modular Algorithm Concept Evaluation Tool.
Paired w/ Sound System focused mentality -
System MACet then encompesses it all.
Bringing the technical side of the creation of this music, which involves electronic algorithms in many different ways, but also the way we use music as a tool to help heal & evaluate our lives.
