"I almost didn't make it to Strichka. The war, the distance and the uncertainty all made me hesitate. But I was in need of a challenge, a new adventure, and Sergey, Tamik and the whole team made the decision feel easy. Once in Kyiv, everything clicked into place. The warm welcome, the beauty of the venue, the spirit of the festival, by the time I stepped into the booth, it felt like all the planets had aligned.
As a recorded testament this became one of the strongest sets I've ever played. Maybe because getting there felt like a mission, or because moments like these can't be taken for granted. Whatever the reason, there's a particular intensity to this mix: a slow build of tension and release that captures the experience perfectly. A reminder that taking risks is often worth it, and that music can still provide a moment of escape, connection and relief when it's needed most."
