The Real X Files feat. Lady Chann by Barclay Crenshaw

The next single from Barclay Crenshaw's self-titled album includes an unlikely alliance of American bass, UK jungle vibes and the spirited vocals of London’s Lady Chann. A long time fan of the many UK bass genres, Crenshaw has dabbled in the genre here and there for many years, only now unveiling an original contribution. The musical results of this collaboration are exceptional.

Coming from a hybrid background somewhere between Grime and Dancehall, Lady Chann sings and spits lyrics over a futuristic yet organic instrumental. Barclay’s jungle fills and synthetic arpeggios complement Chann’s uplifting vocals, accenting each artist’s hidden secrets on "The Real X-Files."
