AHEADACHEADAY is the solo project of Alberto de Angeli, Milan based music producer, sound designer and DJ.
Coming from the late 90’s Milanese noisecore and post-punk scene, Alberto has kept alive his experimental background and DIY ethics; a heterogeneous mix of influences is reflected during his sets and productions, ranging between quirky downtempo, hazy electro, gritty breakbeat and shady psychedelia, all mixed without fear of crossing boundaries or genres.
Since 2020, he has produced under the moniker of AHEADACHEADAY and released on labels such as @lustpoderosa @whypeopledance, @headman, @details-sound @twentyfourhoursrecords, @phobhorecords, @aeon-audio, @mqrotationrecords, @musicagainstmasses, @ruvidorecords, @mystictransfers-rec and his tracks have been supported by @vladimir, @lenawillikens, @ece-o, @elenacolombi, @lamusalamusa…
During the past 10 years Alberto has worked with likeminded artists, producers and labels around the world including: Kodō, @detlefnet, @markeno, Gabriel Shalom, @eyluldeniz1, @andreamarinelli-net (@alanproject), @291out (on Acido Records, @bosconi-records, @reallyswing, Terrasolare) and @siemedwaysmith (Depeche Mode, Luke Slater, Craig Richards) – with whom he’s co-produced releases on @pussyfoot-records, @frequenza-records, @musicagainstmasses and taken part in Best Kept Secret 2022 artists residency, alongside @colinbenders, @maartenvos, @cosmicforce and others.
Alberto is a regular guest of @mutantradio, @operator-radio, Raheem and @refugeworldwide and the creator of Sunday Headaches, a monthly show on Internet Public Radio and TOCCO, his residency on Echobox radio.
