Aegri Somnia Frankfurt Aegri Somnia is a medieval-idustrial-project from Frankfurt, Germany and was founded in the year 2011 by the also current members: Aegris Aeternus: bagpipes, electronics Das Beiwerk: drums, electronics When founded, the band was a complete acoustical project, yet very different to "similiar" medieval bands at that time. Troughout the next few years they brought their unique style to the people at several medieval markets until at the end of 2013 Aegris Aeternus & Das Beiwerk broke up with their other bandmates they where playing with at that time. This happening was taken as a great oppurtunity to lead Aegri Somnia into new directions, yet again very different as you might would expect medieval music to be.
