Twin Turbo are the twin brothers Nuno and Pedro Pinto.
After a few experiences in other projects, they began playing together as DJ's in early 2006. Since then, they have played in the best clubs in Porto, their home town, such as Plano B, Passos Manuel, Pitch, Hard Club, Gare, Bazaar and Indústria, and in Lisbon (Lux, Mini-Mercado, Incógnito...). They have also played throughout Portugal, including on one of the biggest Portuguese festivals "Paredes de Coura" (2008 and 2010 as MegaBass). Besides this they also played in the Clubb Ace (Stockholm, SE), Soundsick and Poney Club (Madrid, ES). They had the pleasure to share the booth with some well know international djs, such as Yuksek, Dre Skull, Blatta & Inesha, Vicarious Bliss, datA, The Proxy, Shadow Dancer, Ascii Disko, Baobinga, Maral Salmassi, Chelis, Loo & Placido, Malente, His Majesty Andre, Mwëslee and with some of the most famous Portuguese names in electro music such as Zombies For Money, Xinobi, etc. Always on Turbo mode, their sets are intense, revealing the influences of rock and heavy-metal music that they grew up listening to mixed with electronic sonic that tears apart the dance-floor.
In October 2009 they started the Club MegaBass with Sérgio Gomes (Breaks Lda) with headquarters at Armazém do Chá in Porto but it tends to spread throughout the country and beyond. It's characterized by bassline, midget house, ghetto bass, fidget and bmore sounds. These sounds have also characterized the latest sets of Twin Turbo.
Now, music production is the next step. After making some mashups and edits for their own sets, they did some remixes for Dare2disco (Kiez Beats), Roulet (Enchufada), Mirror People (Brilliantine) and Dj Loveboat.
The first original track "Fogo" is out on Kiez Beats from Hamburg and the release includes a Zombies For Money & Jony Tevez remix. And coming soon is a remix for Ludovic to be released on Raving Loony...
