A powerful, rich vocalist and harmonica player of the highest order, Tracy K’s talents boast several awards. As a performer Tracy K’ passionate delivery brings audiences to their feet at Blues, Jazz and Folk festivals. She has shared playbills with greats like John Sebastian, Koko Taylor, Valdy, James Cotton, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, and performed twice with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra. First Runner Up in Toronto Blues Society’s Talent Search she was also featured at their Harmonica Workshop and Women's Blues Revue. Tracy K's band and duo are both International Blues Challenge Quarter Finalists (Memphis TN). She's included on 2015 releases Ruf Record’s Blues Harp Women and Mary4Music’s Keeping the Blues Alive Vol.6. Her many awards include a Western Canadian Music Awards Blues Artist of the Year nomination, Winnipeg Blues.com Female Vocalist and Harmonica Player of the Year, and International Songwriting Competition awards for blues and performance. She’s a class act with the energy of someone half her age, and a life’s worth of experience under her belt to sing about. Her songs are well-considered, each of them little stories.
