The Bidons The Bidons Salerno It happens around 2005 when a bunch of rock’n’roll, garage and punk inspired fellows end up holding instruments and making tons of noise. Based in the Irno Valley the band gets around to be particularly productive over the years in the campanian underground by supporting international and national acts like Dirtbombs , Crash Normal, Pitch, Fratelli Calafuria, Joy Cut with no exception for local friends and brothers Valium, the Waves, Culture Wars, Tony Borlotti & Flowers, The Wild Week End. In 2011, after gaining further experience in the most peculiar clubs and switching on several drummers the five lads under the name of Albino Cibelli (Vocals), Nico Plescia and Elia Prisco (Guitars), plus Pino Trotta (bass) and Giovanni Schirru (already “Shevil”, “Culture Wars” and “Vacanza”) start working out their own material, both leaning on 60’s/70’s influence and personal research. This will finally see the light in April 2012; the band’s first release “Granma Killer!!” (self produced / distributed by Area Pirata) characterized by crackling tunes and a couple of covers, as of garage tradition. Right immediately before the album release the band is brought to a new change in the line up hiring bassist Ezio Marinato (the Waves), eventually joining the sessions for the “Sanromolo 2012” compilation promoted by Acidi Viola and recording Nada’s cover “Ma che freddo fa” (March 2012).
