Hitchcock Master Class w. Guillermo Del Toro Prescreening by The Sighthound

On Wednesday May 16, as a part of a series sponsored by Tiff. (The Toronto International Film Festival), Director Guillermo Del Toro conducted a four part/four evening Master Class on the films of Alfred Hitchcock. Each night at 7PM Del Toro spoke for roughly an hour on the M.O. of Hitchcock, then at 8PM, there was a screening (on this evening it was North by Northwest), and following that, there was another hour of discussion, plus a Q&A to wrap up the evening.
It was an amazing night. Del Toro is a wonderful teacher and despite being quite ill, he was clearly enjoying himself as well.
Full disclosure: I listened very carefully as the evening's rules were laid out and we were told that no photos or video recordings were allowed, but there was no mention of audio recordings being an issue.
