Sallie Norheim-Menzel Sallie Norheim-Menzel lake Elsinore, Ca and Vista, Ca I am the Mother of Jeremy and Jeff Royer, two of the musicians that I follow and who's music is on my Dashboard. Jeremy Plays Guitar, both acoustic and electric guitar both 6 and 12 string as well as slide guitar, steel guitar, dulcimer, finger piano and drums. He also sings, writes original music and lyrics and is skilled in recording and mixing. Jeff plays Acoustic and electric guitar, in both 6 and 12 string, bass guitar in both standard 4 string and 5 string, drums, keyboards, piano, finger piano, and harmonica and like his brother also writes original music and does recording and mixing. Both boys study music and sound engineering at Mira Costa College in Southern California. They have a younger sister who is an accomplished Pianist and plays keyboards as well. Their Father ( and my Ex-Husband, Ron Royer, is a World Class Drummer with more than 40 years experience and has played with more than one band that has had its music professionally recorded and produced. During my child bearing/raising years our house was my husbands bands practice house and recording studio. I spend a lot of time in the studio with the band, I have an excellent "Ear" for music as well as well a good and excellent writing skills for lyrics and my input and opinions were highly respected by the band members. Also the studio was built in the basement of our house, directly below the main living area of our home where my children spent a great portion of their time, so not only was music "Bred" into them, they were extensively exposed to it in both its finished form and in each step of the creative process and this exposure began "In the Womb" so to speak from conception. So to say that they are "Natural Born Musicians" is definitely an understatement. And obviously Mom is their greatest Fan. So although I don't possess any musical talents of my own, I do possess the ability to bring talented musicians into the world and nurture their remarkable gifts. So that coupled with the fact that I never met a music I didn't like, is the extent of my own musical gifts and blessings.
