Project Heavy Death La Grange Formed in 2009, Project Heavy Death set out on a simple mission: to create the music They wanted to hear. Started in a garage by Guitarists Garrett Morton and Braedon Kincaid, a chance meeting on a summer night with drummer Chris Smalley soon led to another not-so-coincidental meeting, and the infamous first jam spontaneously sparked forth. Soon after, the Heavy Death was meeting up at every opportunity to further shape and develop a sound. After nearly two years and many hours spent writing, practicing, and perfecting their supernatural art, P.H.D. has created an album's worth of refined material and are ready to unleash it upon the metal community. With the addition of the newest brother in arms, Tom Staub on bass to round out the family, as well as the newly released "Somewhere Between" EP (marking the first fray into the studio for the three original members), the machine is now fully alive and ready to smash and devour it's way through any obstacle to achieve it's goal of spreading their vision to the masses that want to share it.
