Probe X Drums & Basses Bogdan Zaharia Altmannstein Contact: bogdan.zaharia93@gmail.com Probe X was born on 29th of March 1993, in Sibiu, Transylvania, Romania. Ever since he was a child, he was passionate about how sound affects his surroundings. At the age of 12 years old, on his birthday, he received his first instrument, a 1979 Hora Reghin classical guitar, which he enjoyed strumming for a few years, learn a few things about music. At the age of 15, he discovered FL Studio, which, until June of 2011, used almost on a daily basis. During this time, he experimented vastly with EDM music, getting very acquainted to the 130-140 BPM range. After being a fan of Dubstep names like Sukh Knight, Caspa and Benga since 2008-2009, in 2011 he decided to try and produce this genre. Not having any knowledge of mixing & mastering, he wasn't very happy with his sounds, figuring that it doesn't sound like other big names in the scene. He then decided to do research about music production, getting introduced to tutorials about mastering and the spectrum of frequencies. In June of 2011, he discovered, through a YouTube tutorial, Reason 5.0. Probe X has been using this software since then and his sounds have been improving drastically over the last year. He is an aspiring young man, passionate about his work and the entertainment he can bring to others. Stay tuned this year, Probe X is working very hard to make you shake your body and turn your speakers up to floor-breaking Drum & Bass, as well as many other experimental fusion genres that will surprise you.
