Giant Pandas stand between two and three feet tall at the shoulder when on all four legs. But they eat sitting upright, using a pseudo thumb to scarf bamboo stems. In one day, a Giant Panda will eat between 20-40 pounds of bamboo, which they can stomach since their digestive system is closer to that of a carnivore than an herbivore.
