Rain, Thunder and Airplanes Ambience (Binaural) by ONGELEGEN published on 2012-08-31T07:36:24Z Binaural recording of rain with some occasional distant thunder. Airplanes are flying over frequently. I was actually set to record some rain and thunder as it looked like a decent sized storm was on it's way. I was hoping I would at least get some nice thunders in between the airplanes, unfortunately the storm I was hoping for never happened and listening back to the recording I found out that the airplanes flew over more frequently than I expected. In retrospect I quite like the recording, some of the airplanes sound really nice and contrast nicely with the thunder and rain. Recorded on the 30th of August 2012 with my DIY dummyhead into the FR2 @ 96K. Listen on headphones. This recording is free to download and is royatly free.
