Established year 2007 in Mooresville, NC - Racecity, USA. Originally MUSHROOMcomplex started out in the genre of house and drum-n-bass with acid genre influences.Their locally popular and favored songs were Storm of Horsemen, Cybernetix Dubstep, Candy Coated Bombs, and Side Effect; Some of which could still be found on their dead myspace page "/mushroomcomplex".

Their style and presence in the Triangle was often associated with local graffiti artists, art conventions, and music scene venues where everyone supported everyone with their artistic traits.

By the mid of 2008, MUSHROOMcomplex had become more Dubstep dominant than their early songs after being influenced by primarily Lorin from Bassnectar Labs, the local metal scene, and various UK artists such as Rusko, Caspa, Funtcase, and Chase & Status. Their idea was now to bring a mix of specific House like genres and combining them into one with each track, giving the sensation of riding rollercoasters through sound.

Towards the end of 2009 and the middle of 2010, MUSHROOMcomplex was dubbed as pioneers in the Carolina Triangle for introducing Dubstep into the local music scene by local medias, "Think" and "Fayetteville Feed" in the genre of dance, which consisted of other artists like Coin Locker Kid and Beard Eats Face.

The dawn of 2011, MUSHROOMcomplex gained momentum in creating a fan base, as well as Debuting their first worldwide single "Mission One," that in creation, was influenced by their significant others in tribute for their long term support of the duo's persistence.

Outside of music influences for MUSHROOMcomplex can easily be discovered through the name of their song titles and the eerie feeling of their doomsday-like dubstep. Such as aggressive anime, Feudal Eras, UFO sightings, End of the world Theories, The Supernatural, Apocalyptic Prophecies, and Post Modern ideals.
