\\DEBUT SINGLE "LOVE BIRDS" OUT NOW ON BEATPORT//:
Moonchild is a Sydney-based producer highly influenced by 90ʼs Chicago house, French Touch and the recent Australian Nu-Disco scene. Having previously dabbled with Electro, Antoine decided to contribute to bringing back the House music he fell in love with when it was first introduced to his innocent teenage earholes in the late 90ʼs. Since his first ever club set in 2008, this 25-year-old has been delivering his own blend of fast-paced funk accompanied by heavy driving kick drums alongside artists such as Alan Braxe, Bag Raiders, Louis La Roche, Strip Steve, Kissy Sell Out, Tommie Sunshine, and Steve Aoki among many others and can be found sharing his love for soulful music in clubs across the world.
In early 2010, Moonchildʼs first single “Girl” blew up on the blogosphere and amassed support from some well-respected artists in the industry including Treasure Fingers, Nightriders, Justin Faust, Starsmith to name a few; as well as earning plays on Jaymo + Andy Georgeʼs BBC 1 radio show and Australiaʼs own Triple J. What gave him that much needed extra push forward was his success with the 'We No Speak Americano' People's Choice Remix Contest organized by Sweat It Out and Spank Records, which he won by 1/3rd of the votes, earning him a lot of attention.
After having officially remixed artists such as Lancelot, Human Life, Russ chimes, All The Lights, LBCK, Radio Ink and Pierre De La Touche, Moonchild finally released his first official single “Love Birds,” out now on Sydney label VAMP MUSIC, with remixes from Gigi Barocco, Russ Chimes, The Phantomʼs Revenge and Vengeance.
