MM is a self-taught musician/artist (painter and writer) at an early age playing as a kid with whatever was available (pots, pans, tops of cans, plastic school containers, with self made drums sticks found at the local park from branches of trees). Until one day his mother bought him a drum set while in 5th grade. He would study videos of drummers Alex Halen, Lars Ulrich, and Ian Paice. Ever since then that inspired him to continue playing drums for 6 or 7 hours a day for 8 years at which time he was noticed by professional musicians. Started to play in bands professionally at the age of 17, touring the local music scene in various bands in the hardcore punk scene, death metal/metal, hip-hop, jazz fusion, rock, blues, world music, and electronic music. He has played with the members of Buddy Guys' band in Chicago, and various other artists in the Midwest. Now, he has been using his talents to inspire (in-spirit) others to create art and music of their own. Always pushing the limits with his music and art. Currently he collaborates with other bands such as Breakstar Galatica and Psychofelix. He is also the owner of record label MM Manifestations.
