I’ve always had quite a healthy diet of all different kinds music. From Ska punk to Bit-pop to Jazz to Hip hop. I doubt that all of these things have influenced me in an obvious way, but it does mean that I’m always striving to experiment a little more and add different aspects to my music.

I started playing the Clarinet when I was 10 which has not only meant that I could include that instrument in my current songs, but it has also helped me to write music (although transposing is something that I dread!!) I was in a 4 piece Jazz band until I moved away in 2005, mostly singing Jazz Standards in bars and restaurants. It wasn’t until 2004 that I actually started writing my own stuff. I hope other people take something from my music even if it just makes you think of something else that cause you to smile a little.
