VHT Special 6, Fender Pro Jr. & Germino Club 40 Amp Samples by Lesterstrat published on 2010-09-03T19:55:56Z This is my first home recording. SInce I'm still learning how to use my recorder (Boss BR-800), I decided to record a sample track of each of my three amps: VHT Special 6, Fender Pro Jr. and Germino Club 40. All tracks were recorded using my 09 Gibson SG Special Satin Ebony. The last little AC/DC bit is the SG thru the Germino. The tracks were recorded with the guitar plugged straight into the amps and I used the onboard/internal mics of the recorder. No effects pedals are used. However, there was a touch of reverb added within the BR-800. Genre Classic Rock Comment by spiesTeleviv wow the internal mics sound pretty great. 2013-01-25T22:27:00Z Comment by gotammo Wow! Now they're different here. The Germino really shines. What mic did you use? Which speaker for each? 2011-02-18T22:59:26Z Comment by Mjark I think this one would probably sound best in a rock mix with a big bass part and drums. 2010-09-03T23:24:26Z Comment by kents The PJ and the GC40 trump the VHT imo. If you want dark goodness, PJ. Bright goodness, GC40. Thanks. 2010-09-03T21:43:47Z
