Lama Jampa Thaye Lama Jampa Thaye is a scholar and meditation master trained in the Sakya and Karma Kagyu traditions of Buddhism. His principal masters are His Holiness Sakya Trizin and Karma Thinley Rinpoche. Lama Jampa Thaye is one of a handful of western teachers to have mastered, and been granted permission to transmit, the authentic teachings of the Buddha. He holds a doctorate from the University of Manchester for his work on Tibetan religious history and is married with four children. His teaching style is characterised by his erudition and gentle humour, which illuminate the wisdom of the Buddha's timeless teachings. His daily life consists of study, composition and teaching: he is untiring in his efforts to raise the victory banner of the glorious dharma.
