Konversion (born as Aaron Sander) is based out of the southwest virginia city roanoke in the USA. Growing up with rock and metal, he was in several bands between the ages of 13 and 19 playing both guitar and drums. It wasn't until October of 1999 that he was introduced to electronic music and the club scene.

Konversion spent his first year just going to clubs, dancing, getting to know the music. This interest in the music eventually transformed into an urge to want to produce and mix his own music. So, towards the end of 2000, he started to invest time into production with his pc and money towards purchasing turntables.

Initially being interest in trance, Konversion invested more money towards building up his vinyl collection and more time into fine tuning his production abilities. Things changed, as they often do, and his musical tastes migrated towards more aggressive genres. In the latter part of 2001, the artist that we now know was born.

Since late 2000, Konversion has spun in a handful of cities across Virginia and in Washington DC, and has written countless tunes only to better himself on each one. Konversion's love for the music has kept him driven over the years.

Konversion is currently involved with Paranoid Androidz, a DJ collective made up of three veteran DJs who share a love for rockin' the dancefloor with the sounds of broken beats. Based in VA, these DJs broadcast the message of breaks through the airwaves to listeners all over the world every week on their internet radio show "The Downstairs Mixup Show" which can be heard on the #1 breaks radio station in the world, NSB Radio. They traverse the entire spectrum of breakbeats from hard Nu Skool to jammin' Funky to banging Electro and back again. Separately, the DJs have performed along the East Coast at events in cities like Washington DC, Baltimore, Atlanta, Richmond, and more.
