Kid Buttons is a DJ, musical researcher and traveller. Based in Lublin, Poland. Mixes tropical music on a local scene, radio, and abroad since 90's. Organic - soul, jazz, funk, folk, with electronica - dub, broken beat and disco.

Experience and feel the catharsis of the art, of carefully, consciously, selected set of sounds, tunes, vibrations and music in order to feel ...good. A job in such a space is about spiritual connectivity. You are in the place and time to deliver this kind of sound goodness. This is DJ's joy and service to the community.
bio:
Kid Buttons started as a dj at the primary school and summer camps discoteques in the early 90's. From then on, collecting records and cassettes, searching flea markets and second hand shops looking for original sound, when the dj scene and records availability in Poland were something very different from nowadays. From disco, funk, jazz, hip hop, soul, reggae to world music and electronica was always a majority of the content of the vinyl crate of DJ 2funky - the name under he was active till 2004th. Kid Buttons likes to travel, dig, do a musical research. Finding the original groove, independent of genre. Always with a special focus on a broken rhythm and dancable pulse. Besides playing in Polish clubs since 1999 and residing in many Cracows's venues (where he lived till 2012), he gigged in various clubs of London, Madrid, Prague, Lima, Mexico City, Lushoto. Was a resident dj of Bleu Note in Dublin. Cocreated dj/musician projects like Uszy Duszy, Vinyl Sombreroz, Sambasim, Moving Cultures, Soulfood, Jazzpanorama, Mikrokru, Estropical, Homenaje del Cajon, cooperated with musicians, performed on festivals (Festival Revolucion Mexico 2005, Music and World Festival Cracow 2009, Czech Point Vesin 2010, 7xGospel Festival Cracow 2010, Slot Fest Cracow 2010, Funk Masters Prague 2011), jammed at jazz sessions scratching. Mixed live on the air of Cracow's Radiofonia 100.5 FM from 2009 - 2013 at his Mikstejp show, and presenting record finds at Jazzpanorama show.
