Born in South Korea and Living In London.Postino (Junho Lee) is a London-based songwriter, composer, producer, and DJ
'Postino' is gaining worldwide recognition as an accomplished Producer, Singer songwriter, Sound Engineer and DJ, having collaborated with renowned musicians and Pop star in the Korean and Japanese music industry over the last decade.
With Quincy Jones, Enigma, Vladimir Cosma and Ryuichi Sakamoto being some of his biggest influences, Postino dips in and out of myriad genres including dreamy pop, stylish house, chillout lounge, 80' Synth pop and slinky drum & bass. Check out Postino on Myspace for more information.
Having a keen interest in London’s vibrant music scene, Postino continues to expand his musical ambitions by shifting from pop music into electronic dance music. Bushey Hill EP rose to #1 on Junodownload’s Deep House charts with the title track featuring rubbery acoustic bass and off-kilter piano.
Postino has managed to find the very heart of production and wed it seamlessly with soulful vocals and organic instrumentation in his debut album, “A Letter From The Postino”, layered with sparkly ambience and silky beats reminiscent of the downtempo/chillout genre. Painstakingly dovetailed with an almost-ethereal quality, this album is a quicksilver spin through an expansive terrain of lush melodies, atmospheres, and beats which makes his work a compelling listen each time.
