I'm from the Niger Delta region of Africa's most populous country, Nigeria. This topic resonates with me because there really is oil on the shores of where I'm from. The ecological damage here and the armed militancy it provoked (Google up, "Niger Delta") gives me a lot to talk about on the verse I'm gonna spit on "Oil On The Shore".
