I enjoy hearing this chant in the context of a piano hook & progression, and the loop makes it both accessible and meditative.

I love this! Like a sound poem, a moment, and an affirmation. And the wood percussion reminds me of Japanese theater, which I really enjoy.

    Yoko Ono - Georgia Stone
    on June 14, 2011 15:14

I finally heard "Georgia Stone" on the Cage Tribute CD about two weeks ago and have been playing it over and over. I love it! And it is what really inspired me to make my "Love Piece" for Yoko and the Cirque LOVE anniversary. So far, my piece has only one movement, which is like a meditation on love between lovers and friends (you can hear it on my SoundCloud page). I encourage others to check out the Cage CD, some fantastic pieces by Yoko, Laurie Anderson, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Kronos Quartet, and many others. A treasure! -Jason Whiton
