Imoko Set Imoko Set The crafted and emotive sound of local group imoko set, with it's resonant, angled edges is partly due to the intimacy and imagination that only comes from working and playing together in various constellations and forms over many years. At the centre of Imoko's sound are the woven, dark/light vocals which flit and rise around the sometimes raw, sometimes restrained songs from the 4 piece. From rumbling unease to innocent perceptions, their music maintains a humble, earthy feel due to Imoko set's disregard for ego and histrionics. This honesty and bared passion, paired with a genuine knack for writing and arranging quality songs which communicate to both head and heart make Imoko Set, either on stage or on record, a very human and affecting experience.
