It's been a long day already
It ain't even lunchtime yet.
You should have seen last night it was packed tight
And nobody left a tip

My doggies are begging me
My pillow is harkening
I'll see you real soon my baby boo
As soon as I finish my shift

I'm still glad I'm working
But this back is hurting
There's one thing for certain
I'm tired and inspired to retire

I'm gonna catch up on some sleep
They've been working me like a dog
Gonna catch up on some sleep
And I ain't getting up till the sun go back down
And when I get up I'll probably eat
Because that's what I love to do
Gonna hit the snooze
Eat some food
And gonna catch up on some sleep
