If the parties are now a reality, "Gop Towers Vol 1 - Last Night An Edit Save My Life" is the first step for their forthcoming label. Compiling five edits, this EP demonstrates the variety that is constant in Gop Tun, with versions by artists as disparate as Tracy Chapman and SOS Band, as well as complete reconstructions of lesser known tracks. Pointing out the original song on each track is part of the fun, as well the discussion on the fine line between an edit/remix/rework ... After all, these songs were meant to be played.
