Goormak Goormak Thiaroye, Dakar GOORMAK is a Senegalese MC from Thiaroye, a suburb of Dakar. He started rapping in 1995/1996 together with friends he grew up with. In 2000, their band split up and he decided to move on solo. For many years he was then touring with the legendary group WA BMG 44 alongside MATADOR and FATIM. In 2012 after several years of intense work, Goormak released his first solo album Niaxtu. Goormak is also one of the co-founder of the structure AFRICULTURBAN in Pikine.
