The label kicked off with a release Obrotka backed with a remix from Jay Bliss that received critical acclaim and broad DJ support. Now Obotka is back on Abstract with a brand new single of quality house music entitled ‘Diablo’. The single kicks off with a remix of ‘Diablo’ from Cre8tion Records boss and respected Hungarian producer Chriss Ronson. Ronson delivers a bumpin’, bass driven house groove, built around tightly edited vocal snippets, shuffling percussion and sweeping delays; this is heads down peak time house music, beautifully produced and perfectly delivered. Next up we have Negru at the controls, dropping an intense and insistent house mix that develops a hypnotic groove and rides it from beginning to end, quality stuff. Finally the original mix is presented taking a techier and tighter approach with the same chopped vocals and a wonderfully catchy layering of FX and stabs. This latest release from Obrotka is an out and out dancefloor affair with a set of remixes that aims squarely at getting feet moving, if you’re looking for something sedate and laidback look elseswhere, but if you appreciate good house music ‘Diablo’ is cracking find, enjoy!
