Written in a marathon of months, the band’s debut EP was recorded with the help of Mighty Lemon Drops’ Dave Newton in a racing seven hours. Like the bands quick creation, Good Ruin’s music is brash, bold and gritty. Comprised of film students and friends, Good Ruin has come far. Encapsulating the enigmatic city it’s transferred to, Los Angeles is now called home. Inspired by Jesus & The Mary Chain, Danish post punk and new wave, the band’s an outlet for creative expression. “It’s orchestrated noise as a form of therapy, “ says the band’s lead singer, Jeremy Meltzer.
