During their years together as part of the Terrorcraft collective, Gohai & Input C (aka Antti Pääkkönen & Jere Pitkänen) had noticed that their personal paths in music had started to come closer to each other. As both are spokesmen of the good old monotechno and hardgroove sound, they decided to form a duo which would become combining elements from both old and new waves of the more groovier and heavier fields of techno.
