Godkillers - Jingi I (Snippet) by Godkillers published on 2013-04-02T18:24:36Z Labrynth records LABD164 Labrynth records D164 | Godkillers Jingi E.P. Release Date: 22.03.2013 "Jingi" is a Japanese word that in the Yakuza moral code of the represents a reactionary system of values which could be translated as "humanity and justice", always applied to those who live outside the law. As for the first record to be published in the music market, and under the tutelage of the American label Labrynth records, the first edition of the series "Jingi" is a declaration of intent in which the enigmatic Godkillers show their vision of techno from that "humanity and justice", making realtime recording and in one study session a premise under which every instrument must be recorded with hands and in real time. In this first edition of "Jingi" Godkillers give us two powerful tracks, with devastating basslines, powerful beats and deep atmospheres that somehow evoke the best of what the British techno of the 90´s left us using current production elements and exclusive recording techniques of this couple, as they term "bot", which left behind the "drone" concept to convert the sound into something reactive to certain impulses through complex programming that always come to life under the control of the musicians. The EP consists of two tracks: Jingi I and Jingi II , two tracks that certainly will not leave indifferent to any techno lover. Genre Techno Comment by THE MOK bueno bueno..... 2013-04-03T04:12:57Z
