Go Cozy Gazing Expansion Silver Spring A foursome based out of Silver Spring, Maryland, Go Cozy began as an idea without any musical direction or solidity when guitarist/ vocalist Homero Salazar and keyboardist/ vocalist Maria Sage were separated for a few school year months. During that time period, it was all discussions and experiments of the flow Go Cozy would build when Maria returned to Silver Spring. Initially, the inspiration was the distance and when the duo was reunited what came out of the two was something one could peg at melodic jangly pop jams.The weight of the Brit Pop/ Classic Rock persuasion definitely have their toll in the Go Cozy atmosphere. After a few tunes were written, guitarist/ vocalist Lourdes Borrero and bassist Geovanni Amaya joined to complete the band. Since then, Go Cozy has written and self produced the two track single ‘Glimmer’. Freeing shoegaze dream pop rubies from the soul, Go Cozy presents a walk into ethereal soundscapes complete with gentle sea breeze vocals and misty hypnotic melodies. A collection of Paraguayan, Costa Rican, Salvadorian and Puerto Rican roots, this foursome gathers their ideals, sentiments, lyrics and sound from an appreciation for simple pleasures of the human experience. The next single, ‘Silver Lining’ is to be self-released on October 7, 2011. before the upcoming EP ‘Moonroof’, due the fall of the same year.
