@Tim Haywood: I tried to select a collection of tracks that would follow the narrative of the story as good as possible, because I am a huge fan of the orginal musical. I'm terribly sorry if the result isn't up to your standards, I'm only some guy messing around in Ableton in his spare time :)

Still one of my favourite mixes..... been looking at it again closely as thinking about doing something similar but with a broadcast on american radio from the 60's

I love dubstep, I love War of the Worlds, but this is a poor example of fusion, its a great collection of dubstep tunes - some really fantastic things going on here - but it has nothing to do with War of the Worlds, the voice clips seem out of place and tagged on just to get the attention of the association with the classic Jeff Wayne material. Good Hype - but ultimately not worthy.

So I just did a live reading of a reimagined, modern interpretation of War of the Worlds on my university's radio station and a friend showed me this... maybe the greatest use of dubstep I've ever heard, very, very, very well done.
