About

We started Donky Pitch in the summer of '09, out of a need to bring modern mutations of hip hop & colourful synth-driven, stripped-down bass music to our hometown of Brighton. Gemmy headlined the first party, with Sluga and Rekordah providing ample support. Since then we have be lucky enough to play host to many great producers and DJs including Tokimonsta, Blue Daisy, Debruit, Alex Nut, Randy Barracuda and Mweslee.

We made the jump from venues to vinyl in October 2010 with a split 12'' EP from two of our residents, Slugabed and Ghost Mutt. Apart from the label and the parties we also have a monthly radio show, broadcast live e'ry 2nd Thursday, 7-10pm GMT, on Hivemind.fm. We love doing radio.
